NOKIA WORLDWIDE FLAGSHIP STORES
This video content is created for Nokia Worldwide Flagship Stores. Creative and art direction was headed by Phunk Studio. Haroko digitally created a total of 350 books to fill up the 2 long rows of bookshelves. About 100 different textures were created from a mix of actual book cover scans that were heavily manipulated in photoshop. Additional Victorian ornate patterns were also laid on top.
The video of the animated books plays across 10 horizontally aligned plasma screens from a total of 10 D1/DV MPEG2 clips. Each clip is then tagged with a widescreen flag to enable it to playback with its' proper aspect ratio on a plasma.
