An Old New World
Held at National Museum of Singapore, An Old New World: From the East Indies to the Founding of Singapore, 1600s – 1819, is an exhibition that highlights the two centuries leading up to the founding of Singapore. It features personal collections from the families of Stamford Raffles and William Farquhar, and treasures from international museums.
Haroko studio is proud to be part of the collaboration to photograph this unique exhibition and to create an interactive 360 storytelling and educational portal. We customized ‘An Old New World’ to tell stories through the eyes of the different curators. Within this interactive virtual tour, users are given the option to select the journey that they want to explore.
To tell the story of 200 years before the founding of Singapore, we designed this digital exhibition with a combination of high resolution imagery, video stories, narratives, recollective of the different chapters as well as including foley and soundscape music, immersing the users in An Old New World.
