Haroko Studio is proud to announce that we have been commissioned to create a comprehensive 360-degree virtual tour of the MRT Civil Defence Shelters in Singapore. The MRT Civil Defence Shelters are a key component of Singapore’s robust civil defence infrastructure, designed to protect the public during wartime or disaster scenarios. Strategically located in selected MRT stations, these shelters are equipped to accommodate thousands of people, providing them with safety and essential amenities. Haroko Studio’s virtual tour aims to bring these crucial facilities to life, offering a detailed, interactive view of the shelter’s features and operations.

In creating this virtual tour, our team at Haroko Studio will focus on accurately representing the various aspects of the shelter’s infrastructure, from the imposing blast doors to the efficient layout of the shelter areas, including the concourse, platforms, and makeshift sanitation facilities. Users will be able to explore the shelter’s critical installations, such as the water supply systems, air filtration units, and backup power generators, which ensure the shelter remains operational under any circumstances.

We will also highlight the decontamination areas, a crucial feature for scenarios involving chemical threats. This area, equipped with open-concept shower stalls, is designed to cleanse contaminants from individuals before they enter the main shelter space, ensuring the safety of all occupants.
